 Insecurities

Who doesn't have them?
We gain them by what other's make us feel, think, and see; warping our opinion about ourselves.
They grow over time and form in many different ways.
You may not know me well enough...
Because honestly the amount of people who know ME, are less than the amount of fingers on one hand.
Everyone is different.
There are some who find the company of a loved one comforting, and find a safety in their presence.
As for others that discover they're safer closed off.
Protecting their feelings by looking for a reasons to maintain that sanction.
Neither is right, nor wrong.
It's how people live, and how they secretly cope.
I am human.
We are all human.
And to live, the best mechanisism is discovering what helps us survive.

In the end... Our insecurities will be how we leave our mark.
We all make our own footprints in the sand.
Walk too close, and the tide washes them to sea.
At a distance, there will be a path remaining along the beach.
