Poetry Lyrics Confused Lyrics Intro: Look I'm sorry, life doesn't go the way we want it to. So we sit back praying and hoping for some kind of peace... Let me know if it comes to you. Verse 1: I've been working on a story about a man that rips out hearts and breaks up plans. Maybe its cause I don't trust you, cause of what they did. Its not you its me, saying for the weak but applies to me. You never really know what walks those streets. Monsters shaped like men. Fear of all the girls land. Asking if a girl can meet their demands. Chorus: Verse 2: All the hate that runs through her veins, mix with the drugs her body claims. She'll wake up trashed with puke on her hands, and a torn up body that needs to mend. There wasn't anyone to care for her, she was a 15 years old whore. What could she do for what she wanted? With no money in her pocket. Chorus: Verse 3: This girl was a saint, a beauty at that. I knew her real after all that. This is her story about those men, that took her innocence and who she had been. This world is filled with monsters its very true, they walk the streets like me and you. You best be careful with what you choose, or you won't be lucky like her to escape breathing too. Confused (beat).mp3 "A sense of purpose is the best driven force to live. When you have a reason to live, you will never have a reason to quit." -Unknown {Mind of a Child was re-written after Timothy Bryant requested it be edited for lyrics. Song is also known as Red Horizon.} In the Reflection In the shadow of her depression, she was just a lonely child. Lost from a dream of a future. In the dawn of her faith, chaos bleeds from her past. Never comprehending the sorrow in her life may pass. In the evening throughout her mind, everything seeps away. Till her feelings subside and numb, to heal her another day. In the red horizon he cannot see the beauty of still being alive. He dwells on what cannot be faltered, and how he was so deprived. With a mind of a child she plays these games with him. Such different lives cause disputes and they'll never win. The Meaning Out of the darkness, into the blinding lights. Panicked screams echo, from a child born into their lives. Across the starlit skies, her game came to a halt. There was a reason now for neither to be at fault. Two parents were born, as dusk set in. They could see beauty, in the reflection of their gift. They finally saw the purpose for being alive, just from looking into their daughters eyes. Even in sadness, and games galore, they will love unconditionally, forevermore. -Nora Forrest ![]() Youtube video features Timothy Bryant, he sings my poetry as his lyrics. A Story, Not My Own Blood drips down her broken skin, holding a razor to cut out the pain from loving him. |
