 The Guide

Though you bend at words of beauty,

you sift the truth ever so weary.

You see pain from every angle,

and you no longer hear the wings of your guardian angel.

Your eyes so dull, with the reflection of me.

As you try to convince yourself that you're happy.

You used to shine, just like your smile.

Now your smile's gone, and you've hit exile.

Inhale the frustration,

exhale the exasperation.

Surrender to the fight because God knows what's best.

Accept his hand to help with the stress.

So you can soar once again on your angels flight,

and sleep well for once, at least for tonight.

 CINDERELLLA NIGHTMARE

The young lady loved him, he was her prince. He whisked her away from a terrible world of treachery. Swept off her feet, completely in love... that her heart, her mind and her soul was to be his infinitely.
A woman came to his castle stating her engagement the prince had made to her. He established his love for another, to this woman but requested she stay overnight before her journey home.
The young lady woke to her chamber bed empty.
She found him lying with the womans naked body.

In love you are given two choices:
Sacrifice your lovers happiness to better yourself,
or
Burden yourself to better your lovers happiness.
Which would you compromise?

 Trapped

I feel like I'm a prisoner, chained by your command. I feel like I'm your slave, afraid by your demands.

You tell me I cannot be free, no matter the amount I cry. You tell me I have no other choice, so I end up asking why...?

Why not escape these chamber walls? Why not runaway?

You make my life a living hell, yet I continue to stay.

Standing Alone

The shadows, that surround us, distract us from who we're meant to be.

The moments meant to change us, will gladly pass us by.  Leaving doubt clammering our minds, as we fall far behind.

Then one day will come when we open our eyes, just to realize how much love makes us blind.

How can we live so well, lead by our hearts and not our minds? How can we be so naive to forget, that in the end; we'll be standing alone?

Questions

... Never really know what they see, even though the mirror reflects an image of myself that only I see. Situations scatter... different ways to turn. The direction that we choose to walk, is the path that you'll learn. Taking steps back to avoid a relapse, doesn't really help on what you shouldn't avoid to pass. You're only lying to yourself and what you feel, so take a step forward and don't regret being real. -Nora Forrest
